The term webinar is short for a web-based seminar, presentation, lecture, or workshop that is transmitted over the internet. Some webinars are one-way with the speaker talking with no audience interaction. Others are conducted with the presenter speaking over a telephone line, while pointing out information being presented onscreen, and the audience interacting from their own telephones. Attending a live webinar is convenient but even more convenient is the ability to listen to a recorded webinar.
